Dale Allen Watson was born on May 3, 1939 to Bruce and Birdie (Bill) Watson on the farm at Bathgate, North Dakota. He graduated from Cavalier High School in 1957, excelling in football and track. He also attended
Mayville State College. After serving in the US Army at the Korean Demilitarized Zone, he came home to farm. He married Darlene Dietrich on June 16, 1961 at the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Cavalier. Click for more.
