Columbus, MN — The Sunday night (June 12) program at Running Aces produced a new all-time total betting record for the Minnesota track when punters pushed $399,898 through the windows on the nine-race program.
The 2022 season has also seen a sharp double digit increase in average all-source total handle on live racing as compared to the same dates last year and is well on its way to becoming a record year for Running Aces.
Also on Sunday night, there was just a single winning favorite on the card, and no such favorite on the back half of the program, setting the stage for a single winner in the 20-cent Pick-5 Jackpot wager. One lucky player solved the sequence to cash for $27,391.42 and score the first Jackpot of the season.
The last five winners on the card carried win returns of $9.40, $16.60, $43.00, $24.40 and $13.40.
Players were unable to solve the Late Pick-4 on the program, resulting in a consolation payout of $53.80 (for 3-of-4) and sparking a Pick-4 carryover of $5,330.23 for the 50-cent Early Pick-4 on Tuesday (June 14).
Running Aces, in partnership with the USTA’s Strategic Wagering Program, have announced an instant guarantee of $15,000 for the Tuesday Early Pick-4 which is offered on races 1-4 on the program. Post time for race one is 7 p.m. (CDT).
